Why we do this

Early in my life, I had the opportunity to join the Bettendorf, IA Fire & Rescue Explorer Post 9005. I spent 5 years receiving training & mentoring from career professionals, preparing me for success entering into a career in Emergency Planning/Management at the age of 18. Utilizing the skills required for effective Emergency Scene Management, I accepted a position managing the security for the University of Iowa Athletics Program, eventually overseeing the security operations for several NFL organizations as well as US Olympics events.
 

Understanding that the same skills making me successful in Emergency Management could be applied for successful results in almost any industry, I continued to broaden my knowledge by working with business owners to create & deploy strategic plans to align the vision of employees and create an effective working environment. Recognized on a global level for my accomplishments within a call center organization with 100+ worldwide locations, at the age of 22 I was starting to build a network of my own mentors, each able to provide unique insight allowing me to reach my goals successfully. A decade later, I'm proud to bring this mentoring network to the public, ushering more of the same success I was able to find with the right guidance and development.
